Workshop Overview
Balance, Mobility, and Fall Prevention
This workshop will train exercise leaders how to teach
balance and fall prevention programs for older adults.
Learn targeted fall prevention programming that includes
fall risk education and specific strength, balance, and
mobility routines designed for all levels of ability.
Guidelines for Physical Activity for Older Adults.
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be
able to set up and lead group exercise sessions. The sets
of exercise will include standing and seated options for
strength, flexibility, mobility, balance, and functional
fitness. All exercises will be demonstrated during the
